This belt is beautiful but also beats the pants off (I make joke!) of any tacti-cool nylon web style of gunbelt out there. It's nice enough to wear as a dress belt but sturdy enough to hold up the largest of hand cannons available. This belt is very stiff but that's good because it makes a good platform.... Heavy guns feel light on my hip with this belt. It's so sturdy and well made that your grandson could inherit it from you and use it.

I purchased a matching belt to complement my holster and magazine carrier from Dick's. I opted for "Gunfighter Stitching" and I'm glad I did. The extra cost is worth it. The stitching is double-stitched and perfect. The gold thread matches the rest of my rig and really sets it off. The belt is thick and stiff (I'm still breaking it in) as you want in a gun belt but "classy" enough you could wear it with jeans or slacks. Like all of Dick's works, superb craftsmanship!
